97-04 C5 Corvette Adjustable Competition Rear Spoiler Kit

Description

This is the same spoiler system that the After Dark Speed 2002 C5 Z06 Corvette uses for competition events requiring the use of a spoiler.

The modular design allows for quick aero tuning at the track to balance rear down force vs. straight line drag.

Both large and small end plate sets are included.

Four different gurney or wicker strips are included. 1/4″, 1/2″, 3/4, and 1″ wide.

The overall spoiler blade position is adjustable vertically and horizontally to tune the final position on the rear body.

Special chassis mounting brackets provide a positive secure mount to the vehicle chassis.  (This requires cutting two small notches in the top of the rear bumper cover.)  The chassis bracket mounting span is 33″ outer-outer which matches popular C5 Corvette wing kits.  This allows easy change over from spoiler to wing for different series and events.

Legal for Optima Ultimate Street Car Series and SCCA CAM-S class.

***Special CAM-S version available with 10″ tall main spoiler blade, extra large end plates, and a large gurney strip.  Includes extra heavy-duty mounting brackets and is designed to be mounted at 70 to 90 degrees.  This version is fully optimized to the current SCCA CAM-S spoiler rules***

All parts are CAD designed and CNC cut from aircraft grade 6061 aluminum.

All necessary hardware is included.

Chassis upright mount kit is available as a separate kit. Includes only the LH & RH chassis upright structures and chassis mounting hardware. Select in the options menu.

Blank mounting brackets available to adapt to existing chassis uprights & custom applications.
